TFT Set 4: Fates Pass, New Little Legends And More!
Riot revealed several drastic improvements to the TFT: the Fates Pass and Pass+ system for Set 4!
Teamfight Tactics Set 4 is only a few more patches out, and strategists around the world are eager to see the latest Chosen mechanic and a brand-new collection of units and traits. But now, we get to look at the latest Fates pass that’s coming to TFT soon. The latest pass will provide a brand-new way to Level up your Little Legends, new immersive arenas, and more! Let’s find out all the latest goodies coming in Set 4!
TFT Star Shards
In TFT: Fates, players can finally enhance their favorite Little Legend with a new unlockable item called Star Shards, instead of relying on RNG to get the next level of your favorite Little Legend. Players can buy Star Shards in the store or obtain them through the Fates Pass+ (yes, there’s really no option to get Star Shards without having to spend some RP).
If you unlock the new Fates Pass+, up to 300 Star Shards can be obtained, but you also can purchase them in bulk starting at RP 625. These should make it possible for you to level up most Little Legends in your catalog. Here are how many shards you’ll need to level up each rarity of Little Legends:
- Rare & Pass+ Little Legends: 100 Shards
- Epic Little Legends: 125 Shards
- Legendary Little Legends: 150 Shards
Star Shards can not upgrade Victorious Little Legends, UFO, Star Guardian and Jade Emperors. You should also be mindful you’ll need to own the Little Legend before they can be upgraded and once Star Shards are spent, you cannot revert the upgrade process.
TFT Interactive Arenas
Riot showcased three modern arenas based on the Ionian theme to come with TFT: Fates at launch – Festival, Kanmei, and Akana.
Arenas will be available for 1380 RP each, or you might want to get all three for RP 2900. Which might seems like a hefty cost to you, but, there’s a reason for the lofty price. These new arenas will adapt and react to the state of your game, like winning a round, maintaining a streak, or even reacting to the death of a three-star unit!
TFT Fates Little Legends
The one aspect most TFT Fans look forward to is a decent batch of new Little Legends. Riot has already showcased four new Little Legends coming in Set 4. These will be added to the growing collection of all Little Legends so far.
To start with, Ao Shin’s release comes as a surprise. Ao Shin was a long-rumored dragon champion for anyone who’s unaware. Fans had been looking forward to its release for years, unfortunately, the champion was scrapped. Ao Shin’s concept was then later turned into the champ now known as Aurelion Sol. Luckily for us, Ao Shin lives on as a sweet yet frightening Little Legend when TFT: Fates launches.
A charming laid back Little Legend. Choncc is said to be eternally hungry and endlessly sleepy. Do not poke a sleeping Choncc, once provoked can showcase ferocious power!
A little shadow dragon Little legend. She’s a perfect combination of fierce and powerful but also springy and scaly. Earn Umbra’s trust, and it’ll show you sweet affection and fierce dedication!
Missed from the initial TFT Fates article. Lucky Fuwa has been revealed officially on Twitter. The golden Fuwa variant will be part of the Set 4 Fates Pass+.
TFT Fates Pass & Pass+
TFT: Fates will retain a free and paid version of the season pass, exactly like TFT Galaxies. As we already know, you’ll be able to unlock 300 Star Shards with Fates Pass+ to upgrade your Little Legends. Here’s what else you can expect to receive with your Fates pass+:
- Four new impressive Booms!
- Jade Emperor with a classy makeover
- Fates-themed Fuwa
- Two new arenas (does not appear to be interactive like the three RP ones)
The Fates Pass+ will be unlocked for 1295 RP and, as it repeatedly been, if you spend your RP later on in the set to purchase the Pass+, it will unlock all the goodies you’ve already earned.
