Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Item Stacking Guide

Which items stack in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and which Items do not?

Items fulfil a pivotal role in your success in Teamfight Tactics, strengthening your units to scale into powerhouses by the endgame. Just like champions, some items are more effective than others and some are extremely niche. In this guide, we’ll go over all items in TFT that can stack and those that do not include items with the unique tag.

Riot Games has made many changes to how items function and the interactions they have since the launch of TFT. Many of these changes were due to unforeseen bugs like item interactions which allowed a unit to be healed by Thornmail’s damage with the use of a Hextech Gunblade. Similarly, in patch 9.18, items that do not stack will now bounce off any champions they are placed on.

In this guide, we’ll be looking at all the items that stack in terms of unique abilities, items stats will always carry over. Additionally, we’ll cover all items that do not stack plus all the items in set 2 that presently carry the Unique tag.
